Travel Tales

Ah, travel. That thing you spend three months planning, one week living, and the rest of your life retelling at dinner tables with increasingly dramatic hand gestures.

Here’s where the road stories live — the ones that started as mild inconveniences and somehow became the best parts.

The cramped overnight trains. The hotel that was technically close to the beach (if you squinted and ignored the highway). The local dish you pointed at boldly because you had absolutely no idea what it was. (It was fine. Mostly.)

Whether it’s navigating the ahem… strategic battlefield of airport armrests, decoding menus in languages you do not speak, or simply staring out at a landscape and thinking — okay, yes, this was worth it — travel has a way of handing you a story whether you asked for one or not.

These are the tales from those journeys.

Trueish, of course.

The funny bits are real. The wonder is real. The part where everything went perfectly to plan…Well. You know how it goes. 🙂
